Our Long Island appliance repair team was recently called out to help with a whirlpool refrigerator repair in Lindenhurst NY.
“No cooling” in the refrigerator section of the home appliance was the main concern for our new friends Mr. & Mrs. Homeowner.
They also noticed less than usual cooling inside the freezer compartment on this Wrt311fxdw01 model.
After validating the no cooling concerns with a thermometer, we began to look for the reason behind this no cooling issue.
We soon discovered that while the freezer fan motor on this Whirlpool brand refrigerator was on and in fact running, it was not quite up to speed.

RPM is simply a measurement of how many times a motor rotates per minute. (Rotations Per Minute)
While this whirlpool refrigerator fan motor was rotating, it was doing so very slowly and way outside of range for proper refrigeration temperatures.
After explaining the needed repair and getting approval for repair, this Whirlpool refrigerator was back up and running the same day.
